83% of the Spanish export of flowers and live plants went to the Community markets; a total of 318 million euros of the 385 million euros that added sales in the first half of 2023, registering a slight growth of 2% compared to the same period of 2022.
According to data from the Customs and Excise Department of the Tax Agency, processed by FEPEX, France is the first destination for Spanish exports of flowers and live plants in the first half of this year, followed by the Netherlands, Germany, Portugal and Italy. . The evolution was positive in all these markets, except in Germany, where it fell by 15% , totaling 38 million euros.
Sales of Spanish flower and plant in France stood at 117 million euros, 2% more than in the same period of 2022 ; in the Netherlands it was 74 million euros ( +11% ); in Portugal it amounted to 35 million euros (+6%) and in Italy they stood at 24 million euros (+13%).
