Description:
Perennial fruit tree similar to the orange tree. It reaches 6 meters in height, branching from very low, taking on a crooked appearance. The branches have short thorns that emerge from the axils of the green leaves and are very similar to those of the orange tree. The flowers, very fragrant, are yellowish white and its fruits are greenish in color and have a juicy and very acid yellow pulp.
Care:
The trees grow best in regions with hot summers and warm winters where temperatures are typically between 25 and 30°C. The lime tree is even more susceptible to cold than the lemon tree. It multiplies by seeds and grafts
