IGOTY Awards
The International Association of Horticultural Producers (AIPH) has opened the deadline for nurseries from around the world to submit their candidacies for the International Grower of the Year (IGOTY) 2025 awards, which since 2009 have recognized producers of ornamental plants that They demonstrate innovation and experience in the green sector.
The awards are divided into five categories : finished plant and tree, young plant, cut flower and bulbs, sustainability and innovative businesses. From these categories, only one winner will be crowned 'AIPH International Grower of the Year 2025' and will receive the 'Gold Rose', the most coveted award in the sector.
Last year, the British nursery Greenwood Plants won the top award, and for the first time a Spanish nursery, Fitoralia , was among the finalists, in its case within the sustainability category.
Candidates can register online for the IGOTY Awards 2025 and registration will close on Friday, July 5, 2024 . Entrants will then be judged by a panel of industry experts based on five key criteria; economic profitability, innovation, market knowledge, sustainability and human resources policy.
